Be ready where the guest begins
People use AI assistants to explore their options and plan what to order. With Lenius, your menu can become part of a real ordering conversation when the assistant supports the connection.
AI ordering for restaurants
Lenius is rolling out AI ordering in Denmark. An AI assistant can find your menu, show the total price and help a guest place an order that they pay for directly on your site.
Rolling out now · Guest approval required · Payment on your site

From conversation to kitchen
A real order. Your usual workflow.
Why join early?
Guests should still be able to choose your restaurant on your terms. AI ordering offers another route from their question to your menu and then to your ordering site.

The assistant gets your menu, prices and available times from your Lenius setup. Guests can get a useful answer without you having to maintain another menu.
AI ordering is being rolled out. Joining early lets you learn how guests ask for food and tell us what needs to work better in your restaurant.
How it works
The assistant helps the guest choose. The guest must approve the quoted price and pay on your site before you receive the order for processing.
A compatible AI assistant receives a request for food, pickup or delivery.
It finds relevant restaurants, reads the menu and checks available times.
The total price and terms are shown. The assistant places the order only after the guest accepts.
The guest pays on your ordering site. Once payment is complete, the order moves into your usual order flow.

You stay in control
The AI assistant helps guests find and prepare an order. They still see your menu, your opening hours and your ordering site.
Products, options and prices come from the menu you already use in Lenius.
The assistant can offer only the pickup and delivery times that are available.
No order is placed until the guest has seen the price and accepted the terms.
The guest pays by card on your ordering site before the order is sent for processing.
The technology behind it
MCP is a standard that lets compatible AI assistants use external tools. Lenius' connection gives the assistant the steps it needs to find a restaurant, show its menu and available times, quote a price and place an approved order.
Availability in services such as ChatGPT also depends on their own integration and approval processes. AI ordering is therefore being rolled out gradually.
